The Board consists of a minimum of four and
a maximum of eight members, each elected by the
general membership (except in cases of mid-year
replacements, which may be appointed by the Board).
The
Board is responsibility for operating and managing
the business and affairs of SGC, subject to the
provision of State and Federal Law and SGC Bylaws.
The Board is further charged in assuring timely,
legal and proper conduct in the pursuance of its
purposes. After the close of each fiscal year, the
President shall arrange for an annual informational
financial review and planning session.
All members of the Board shall be available
to new and prospective members to answer questions
about SGC and to encourage full participation.

Jim
Serves as Chief Executive Officer of the
organization, presiding at all meetings of the Board
and the general membership, whose responsibilities
are to generally supervise, direct and facilitate
the business of SGC; Serve as spokesperson for SGC.
Establish and maintain relationships with the
community regarding the organization’s purposes,
services, and activities; Present a report, written
and verbal, to the membership upon the State of the
organization at the Annual Meeting; and perform
other duties as prescribed and in keeping with this
office.

Vice
President -
Jose
Assists the
chair in fulfilling the duties of Senior Executive
Officers of the Organization as well as to serve as
acting as Chair in the absence of the Chair couple.
He performs any other duties as prescribed
and in keeping with this office.

Corporate Secretary

Rick
Serves as the corporate
secretary of the organization by maintaining all
historical and legal records of organization, which
include but are not limited to: minutes of all board
meetings, a yearly record of all proceedings and
actions, the policies and procedures of the
organization, the membership roster.
They perform any other duties as prescribed and in
keeping with this office.

Treasurer

Aaron
Serves as the chief financial
officer of the organization, he is responsible for
receiving, depositing and disbursement of funds, and
maintaining appropriate financial records and
controls.
Provide Annual Financial Statements as well
as a written and verbal financial statement and a
proposed annual budget at the Annual General Meeting
of the Members.
They will obtain appropriate professional
assistance in establishing and maintaining SGC
accounting procedures and records.

All remaining board members
assist with the operation of, or chair, one or more
board committees.
